01Our policy
wordpressthemes.site responds to clear notices of copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws elsewhere. If we receive a valid notice, we’ll remove or disable access to the material in question and, where we can, let the person who posted it know.
02Reporting infringement
If you believe something on our website or in one of our themes, such as an image, text, code or demo content, infringes your copyright, send us a written notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The exact location of the material, such as the page URL or the theme and file name.
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
03Where to send it
Use the form at the bottom of this page, or email your notice to support@wordpressthemes.site with “DMCA notice” in the subject line. We review every notice and usually respond within 2 business days. Notices that leave out the information above may take longer, or we may ask you for more details.
04Counter-notice
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send us a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you’re outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you’ll accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
05What happens next
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we forward it to the person who filed the original notice. If they don’t tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they’ve started a court action, we may restore the material.
06Repeat infringers
We will close the accounts and deactivate the license keys of customers who repeatedly infringe other people’s copyrights.
07False claims
Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes a false claim that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you’re not sure whether something infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice before sending a notice.
08Copies of our themes
If you find our themes, demo content or design files being sold or shared without permission, for example as “nulled” downloads, please let us know at support@wordpressthemes.site. It helps us protect the customers who pay for updates and support.
